Lenovo V15 G4 Core i3 13th Gen Laptop in Pakistan

The Lenovo V15 is a depiction of Lenovo’s IdeaPad but with a more business or office-directed approach. For its latest G4 series, it is now powered by the Raptor Lake series from Intel allowing it to keep up with the competition when it comes to tasks like handling emails, and docs, surfing, or simply just content consumption.

Design

The Lenovo V15 G4 is offered in a Business Black color where everything touchable is textured which provides more grip to the touch. The top and bottom are crafted from PC-ABS, which makes the product more portable. It is less in weight and is closely put together so that it can fit in any laptop sleeve or backpack.

13th Gen Core i3 Laptop

The central processing unit fitted in the Lenovo V15 G4 is the Intel Core i3 1315u 13th Generation Raptor Lake Hexacore Processor, and is distributed between 2 Performance cores, and 4 Efficiency cores, alongside a total of 8 threads, and a 10 MB level 3 Intel® Smart Cache. The setup is offered at a clock speed of 1.2 GHz, initially which can further be overclocked using Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology, to a Max Turbo Frequency of 4.50 GHz.

The new architecture allows it to consume less energy to maximize the batter capacity by locking the Base Power at 15 W, which can reach a max Turbo Power of 55 W. It supports Up to DDR4 memory clocked at a transfer rate of 3200 MT/s. The integrated Intel UHD Graphics offer a maximum dynamic Frequency of 1.25 GHz, making it support a display output of 4096 x 2304 at a refresh rate of 60Hz.

Memory and Storage

The V15 G4 is retailed with an onboard soldered 8GB memory which fully takes advantage of the CPU’s memory handling capability by being clocked at a rate of 3200 MT/s while also being DDR4. Since the laptop is capable of handling dual channel memory configuration another empty slot is also provided which accommodates a max of 8 GB for a total of up to 16GB of DDR4 setup.

The storage drive included is 256 GB of PCIe Gen 4.0×4 2242 M.2 Solid State Drive that offers fast read and write speeds, which ensure quick launches for applications stored over it. In terms of upgradability, it can also house another 2.5-inch hard drive for up to 1TB of mass storage, while the original one can also be swapped with a maximum capacity of 1 TB.

Display

The screen included is a 15.6-inch TN panel, which justifies its low cost. Still, it is capable of displaying at a resolution of Full HD at 1920 x 1080.  Where the panel can achieve a max attainable brightness of 250 nits with the support for Anti-glare. It is offered with a quoted coverage of 45% for the NTSC space, explaining its usage only for non-color-accurate applications.

Battery

The package includes a 65W Round Tip (3-pin) AC adapter that is assigned to fuel an integrated battery with a 38 Wh capacity.

Keyboard and Trackpad

It comes with a full-size Non-backlit, English (UK) keyboard, that is located on top of the buttonless touchpad, which is fully clickable and multi-gesture supported.

Other Specs

The included webcam records at HD 720p and also has a mechanical Privacy Shutter, while the Dual Stereo speaker setup can output a maximum of 3 watts, and also is optimized with Dolby Audio producing High Definition (HD) Audio that is powered by Realtek® ALC3287 codec.  The 2x digital microphone Array is located in the top bezel. The wireless signals received are funneled by the 11ac 2×2 + BT5.1 wireless card.
