Lenovo ThinkPad T14s 13th Gen Core i7 Laptop in Pakistan

Another addition to an already incredible series of notebooks is the Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 4 Ultralight Notebook which is from the ground up optimized for the 13th Generation of processors for tackling all the modern-day demanding tasks.

Design

The device follows a subtle deep black ThinkPad design approach which is constructed on top of the aluminum chassis which provides lightness to the overall package and strength as well.

13th Gen Laptop

The Intel Core i7 1365u 13th Generation Raptor Lake processor is fundamentally handling all the operations. It sits among the top offerings in the u series spectrum, which means it is more competent and more efficient than its other siblings. It comes awarded with a set of 2 performance cores, and 8 efficiency cores, 12 threads, 12 MB of Intel Smart Cache. Aiming to provide an overall decent multicore and multithreaded performance.

As the name suggests they are oriented towards making the experience more and more competent. They are initially clocked at a colossal 3.90 GHz, and under normal usage, it maintains that figure if, in case of any high-density task, it then uses Intel’s Turbo Boost Technology, which then overclocks them to 5.20 GHz, which permits for maximum utilization of the hardware.

In parallel, the efficiency cores take charge so that they can intelligently handle all kinds of power fluctuations happening in them. At a minimum, it helps the unit to draw just a mere 15 watts, and under max load that number rises to 55 watts, this enables the laptop to maximize its battery capability for longer mobility.

The graphical processes are managed by the integrated Intel Iris Xe Graphics, which is responsible for all kinds of visual intensive operations like editing, rendering, etc. The laptop is provided with a graphical render clock frequency of 1.30 GHz, which allows it to also support HDMI 2.1 display out.

Memory and Storage

The provided onboard soldered DDR5 memory setup is clocked at 4800 MHz, which allows a capacity of 32 GB, which is more than enough to handle multitasking even in the case of multiple high-density applications. On top of that, the memory is also configured in a dual channel. This permits the user to compute through several applications at the same time.

While the storage, is supported by PCIe Gen 4.0×4 NVMe Opal 2.0 2280 M.2 Solid State Drive, which comes with 512 GB of fast data cabinet, which also offers rapid data transfer all thanks to fast read and write speeds. The device also allows for an upgrade of the storage if ever needed by swapping the existing SSD with a bigger capacity one.

Display

The panel responsible for displaying the processed content is a 14-inch IPS screen which is potent enough to display a resolution of WUXGA at 1920 x 1200. Which also provides a maximum achievable brightness of 300 nits so that one can use the notebook, in a darker or extremely light environment. The Anti-glare surfacing makes it capable of rejecting reflections when facing the light.

The screen refreshes at a rate of 60 Hz, alongside that it also provides support for Touch inputs which enables a completely new form factor for its user to interact with the laptop.

Battery

The battery provided boats with a capacity of around 57 Whr, which supports Rapid Charge with the assistance of the 65-Watt AC Adapter.

Keyboard and Trackpad

The keyboard included supports Backlit with white LED lighting, which can be helpful in a lot of situations, the setup is also spill resistant providing an additional layer of protection, located over the fully clickable trackpad which also supports multigesture input.

Other Specs

The Windows logins are made secure with the inclusion of the Touch Style, Match-on-Chip, and Integrated Power Button fingerprint reader. While the obstacles faced during internet surfing are eliminated by the Intel® WiFi 6E* AX211 802.11AX (2 x 2) Bluetooth® 5.3.

It also comes with a 5.0-megapixel infrared Discrete webcam, with a physical Privacy Shutter. The included ports for external connectivity include 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1, 1x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (Always On) 2x Thunderbolt™ 4 / USB4 ports providing a signaling rate of 40 Gbps, while also supporting data transfer, Power Delivery 3.0 and DisplayPort™ 2.0), and 1x HDMI 2.1, up to 4K/60Hz.

The speaker setup is complemented by the Dolby Audio and Dolby Voice, along with 2 user-facing mics located beside the webcam.
