HP Envy 16 AC0023dx Intel Core Ultra 7 Laptop in Pakistan

The new HP Envy 16 AC0023dx tries to boost one’s professional passion, for which its latest iteration is now powered by the 14th Generation of Meteor Lake Processors from Intel, which also intelligently optimizes the factor of Artificial Intelligence with its new Low Power Efficient Cores.

Design

The appearance of the notebook is perfected with the top cover being crafted with meteor silver aluminum having a sandblasted anodized finish, whereas the keyboard deck also has the same color and the same sandblasted anodized finish, which contributes to providing rigidity and also makes the device denser.

14th Generation Processor

The main highlight of the whole package is the central processing unit which is an Intel Core Utra 7 155 H Meteor Lake 14th Generation Processor, which is a top-of-the-line, CPU from the latest Intel Generation. It comes packed with 12 cores, which come with 2 performance cores, 8 efficient cores, 2 Low Power Efficiency Cores, 14 threads, and an Intel Smart Cache of 12MB.

The performance ones are clocked at 1.7 GHz and can utilize the potential of Intel’s Turbo Boost for a maximum clocked frequency of 4.8 GHz, this allows the unit to handle heavy-duty operations flawlessly. While the efficiency ones make sure that while performing some of the most demanding tasks, the unit should not draw a lot of power. Which in our case is limited from 15 watts to 57 watts.

While the Low Power Efficiency ones are responsible for all kinds of AI-oriented tasks, like the Windows Copilot, on top of that any other desktop application can also take full advantage of its processing capability.

The CPU is also provided with Intel’s integrated Iris Xe Graphics which are configured to function as UHD Graphics and are responsible for all sorts of graphical processing. Handling the AI aspect for the GPU is the OpenVINO™, WindowsML, DirectML, ONNX RT, and WebGPU.

Memory and Storage

The memory situation of the Envy 16 14^th Generation is supported by the setup of 16 GB of LPDDR5 which is clocked at a transfer rate of  6400 MHz RA which is soldered onboard. The state of storage is handled by the PCIe® Gen4 NVMe™ M.2 Solid State Drive, providing a capacity of 1 TB, which offers quick transfer and boot speeds.

Display

The 360-degree rotating 16-inch diagonal IPS panel can display at a fantastic and attractive resolution of  WUXGA at 1920 x 1200. It is also multitouch-enabled, which adds another way of interaction. It also comes with edge-to-edge glass, micro-edge, which is also Corning Gorilla Glass NBT protected, the screen can achieve a maximum brightness of 300 nits which helps in darker environments. The color gamut is around 62.5% for the sRGB space, for a screen-to-body ratio of 89.5%.

Battery

The unit is powered by a 3-cell, Li-ion polymer battery which packs a capacity of 59 Wh, which is then recharged by using the 65 W USB Type-C adapter, which can recharge the battery up to 50% within 30 minutes.

Keyboard and trackpad

It includes a full-size, LED Backlit, and soft grey keyboard, plus, the LED backlight is always handy whenever you are working in a direct environment. Located beneath is the HP Imagepad, which is fully clickable and also supports multiple gestures.

Other Specs

The 5MP IR camera with temporal noise reduction is responsible for all the video conferencing needs combined with the integrated dual array digital microphones. The wireless channel for the notebook is supported by the Wi-Fi 6E (2×2)(19c) and Bluetooth® 5.3 wieless card(25)(26) (supporting gigabit data rate). The audio department is handled by the Poly Studio with dual speakers.

The setup is provided with the ports of 1 Thunderbolt™ 4 with USB Type-C® with a signaling rate of 40 Gbps which is also supported with USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™, The latest Thunderbolt™ solution lets you boost up your device or connect up to two 4K displays with a single cable, HDMI 2.1, 1 USB Type-C® with a 10 Gbps signaling rate supporting USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 1.4, HP Sleep and Charge, 1 USB Type-A with a  10 Gbps signaling rate which also comes with HP Sleep and Charge, and a Headphone/microphone combo.
